Social Responsibility Policy - ETHICS
At Polyplast, the way we lead, work, and behave is guided by our core values. These values influence the way we meet the needs of our clients, respecting the legal requirements, but also the rules of the International Human Rights Regulations, as reflected in the conventions of the International Labor Organization, the United Nations Convention on Human Rights of the child and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as the Guidelines of the ETHOS Corporate Social Responsibility Evaluation Model.
At Polyplast we are committed to incorporating responsible and sustainable business practices into all our operations. It is our policy to act responsibly in our day-to-day relationships with our customers, suppliers, employees and the local community.
We have a long history of supporting the public we serve. Protecting our shared environment is as essential to Polyplast as it is to our employees.

Demonstrating our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, we aim to align our business values, purpose and strategy with the needs of our customers, while incorporating responsible and ethical principles into what we do.
These principles include established standards to ensure that working conditions are safe, that employees are treated with respect and dignity, and that business activities are environmentally responsible and conducted ethically.
Our company is certified with ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 22000: 2018, OK COMPOST (TUV AUSTRIA) as well as is a member since 2021 of “OUR GREECE” / ETHOS.
Business Ethics and Transparency
Polyplast is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance practices, in order to maintain excellence in its day-to-day operations and to promote confidence in its governance systems.
Polyplast will conduct its business in an open, honest, honest and ethical manner.
At Polyplast conflicts of interest are not acceptable. All fees and expenses in the company must be legal, reasonable, justified and supported by evidence.

We respect the right of our staff to live on a decent salary and we fully comply with the current legislation on salaries, working hours, and overtime. Overtime work is voluntary in nature. No form of forced labor takes place in our Company.

We advocate for the impartial evaluation and management of our staff, avoiding the use of disciplinary practices, when the principles of the company are not violated, regarding quality, environment, health and safety, and corporate social responsibility.

Polyplast is committed to timely and meaningful dialogue with all stakeholders, including stakeholders, customers, employees, local actors, local community, governments, regulators, and landowners, among others.
At Polyplast we work daily, methodically and in collaboration with stakeholders to combat any form of violence, bribery, corruption, and fraud.
We educate our people on an ongoing basis and encourage reporting, anonymously or anonymously, whenever and for anyone who observes a breach of the Law (or a suspected breach of law) or an act that violates Good Business Practice.

Polyplast takes business continuity planning extremely seriously and is committed to devoting adequate time to planning cases that may be out of its control.
Our goal is to ensure that our company’s activities can be maintained within the shortest possible time, with the least possible inconvenience, and at the lowest possible cost, in order to ensure our people and our partners that our company will operate in full in any unfortunate situation.
The operations and ultimate responsibility for our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and our Environmental Sustainability is the responsibility of every Polyplast employee.
The effectiveness of this Policy will be monitored and reviewed at least annually by the Chief Executive Officer to ensure the Company’s continued compliance with all relevant legislation, meet new business requirements, and to identify areas in need of improvement.
Polyplast will inform its partners, contractors, and suppliers as well as all stakeholders about the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and will work with them to achieve consistency with this policy.
We will also ensure that employees are aware of any changes, as needed.
